She was 8 days early, and came in a speedy 4 hrs from start to finish. We should've named her after the thing that got her going -- the Latona Pub. After a late lunch of Boundary Bay IPA and a tuna melt at our favorite pre-Sabine pub, things kicked in quickly. Just 2 hrs 15 minutes after arriving at the hospital, Delphine Elizabeth arrived at 8.44 PM. She was 6 lbs 14 oz, 19 inches long, and cried like crazy. Later, she met her older sister, gave her a stuffed dinosaur and we had a birthday party complete with cupcakes. We're all thrilled to have her home, even Piper.
